Southern Lakes Multisport Club Membership entitles you to:

• Our races have a focus on the social aspect of the sport and we get together for coffee & kai after each race where tales are told & arch rivals become best mates

• SLMC is CRNZ affiliated, so you get a big discount on your Waimak Classic entry fee.
   

• Weekly Saturday training paddles at Lake Hayes
   

• Summer only Try, Learn, Explore courses for new paddlers
   

• We have 8 Nelo surf ski boats and will be running member only surf ski "have a go" days for those curious about this epic sport to compliment your multisport paddling. Check out the video of the "rebel run" of the Deepsouth Downwind back in December to see how awesome downwinding on our Southern Lakes can be!

• Club members can book their grade 2 river kayaking certifications through Bill Godsall on 021 442 626 or spud.billgodsall@xtra.co.nz (essential for most races involving kayaking & for our regular club river paddling missions)
   

• The Club owns some kayaks that can be leased out to members or those who want to try out kayaking for the first time - for information and lease fees, contact one of the SLMC team.
