24/12 hr Adventure Race

The SLMC Adventure Race is a teams event made up of 2 or 4 people. The race starts on a Friday evening finishing on the Saturday afternoon/evening depending how quickly teams race.

The race features sections of paddling, mountain biking, trekking and an added feature of abseiling is sometimes thrown in for good measure.

The 24 hour course is set so that the fastest teams should be able to do it in around 14-16 hours while the endurance end of the pack might like to stay out there and get their money's worth for 23hr 59min. The 12 hour competitors will race during set hours on the Saturday.
